You be the Judge

I don’t believe I have much in common with Simon Cowell.

Marketing Doris - keeping marketing on the right track

We mix in different circles. We rarely (if ever) bump into each other in the supermarket, and despite my love of monochrome clothing, we don’t frequent the same retailers.

This may be stating the obvious and I’ve only really brought this up as I was watching him and the other judges on X Factor. After all these years, I still puzzle over their comments and decisions about who’s good, bad and ugly

.. and it got me thinking, it could be considered that there are many similarities on how decisions are made about good marketing.  Is  it subjective or purely down to personal tastes or just sheer doggedness?  I don't know how Simon & Co make their judgements on music, but deciding on what is good marketing should depend on:

  1. If it meets the company’s objectives
  2. Is it within budget
  3. Is it targeting the right audience
  4. Is it delivering the right results

I may not be able to spot the next chart topper, but I can keep you on the right track with your marketing… give me a call and let's meet for a coffee and discuss

"We worked with Helen for just under a year. She brought fresh ideas that we had not thought of and taught us many things we did not know. Her enthusiasm and work ethic are second to none. She was committed"
