Saying it as it is

Saying it as it is

I like marketing that is simple and straight talking.

If a message is over complicated or it's difficult to work out what s being promoted, then it just isn't working.  According to the Attention Span Statistics, our attention span has dropped over the years and you might be interested to know that in 2015 it reported as being 8.5 seconds compared to 12 seconds in 2000.  A goldfish now has a bigger attention span that us at 9 seconds.

That's why I particularly liked this advertising poster which I spotted in a ladies toilet cubicle in a restaurant in Sibiu in Romania whilst I was on a recent holiday.

The message is clear, it grabs your attention, there is a call to action and it made me laugh.   What could be better - it is quite simply #goodmarketing

For #goodmarketing campaigns for your business, drop me a line at helen@marketingdoris.co.uk and let's have a coffee to discuss.
