Cookies - no not the sweet kind!

You may be surprised to learn that I'm not talking about the Chocolate Chip variety on this occasion but rather the new Cookie Directive that came into force on 26th May 2012.

I've read many articles on this subject and had various conversations with experts from the World of the Web, and what it means to website owners, marketers and users of the internet in general.

Cookies - no not the sweet kind! All have been very informative and useful, however the one I've found to be most user friendly, and the one I'd like to share with you is from our friends at Space 48.  Their blog The EU Cookie Law - not so tasty gives guidance on what the new Cookie Directive means, how to check your own website and what you should be doing to keep within the guidelines.  Definitely worth a read over a cup of coffee (and a biscuit)..

... and for the record the Marketing Doris website doesn't currently use Cookies
