Books, Retail and The Apprentice

I was inspired by The Apprentice last night which brought together two of my favourite things; books and retail.
Books, Retail and The ApprenticeThe contestants were asked to create, write and produce a children’s book with audio accompaniment and then sell it.
Typically the results were mixed and it’s always easy when sat on the couch to think that things could have been done better.
However, ultimately the person who was fired was the one who struggled with the sales process.
Marketing supports the sales function with:
  1. Research into your target audience
  2. Identification of the right routes to market
  3. Identification of the right supporting marketing materials
Marketing Doris has experience of marketing for the retail sector and of children’s products and services.
